Skills on Show didn't start as a business. It started as one private page for one young footballer — and a refusal to hand his childhood to an algorithm.
When scouts asked to see my son's football highlights, I had two options: hand them a chaotic camera roll, or put a twelve-year-old on social media — with the comments, the strangers, the ads and an algorithm feeding on his childhood.
I refused to do either. So I built him a private showcase instead: one elegant page, one link, designed to stay out of search and seen only by the coaches and family we chose. It worked so well that other parents kept asking for one.
Skills on Show is that idea, made for every family. It's not a social network. There is nothing to like, nothing to comment on, and nothing for sale — except a beautiful home for the moments you're proudest of.
You retain ownership of every photo and video you have the right to upload. Download your originals anytime. We never sell your media or train AI on it.
Showcase pages are never listed by us, carry search and AI-crawler exclusion signals, and can be password-protected — right down to the media itself.
No likes, comments, followers, DMs or public directory. Accounts are adult-owned, and the optional contact form stays off unless you turn it on.
Your media lives in private, access-controlled storage and is delivered through controlled links — never posted to public platforms, social networks or open storage.
Simple annual plans in Australian dollars, GST included. No monthly drip. No surprise upsells.
Everything needed to share the work beautifully and privately.
More room, longer video and a built-in editing workflow.
Confirmed introductory private-beta pricing. Australian dollars, GST included.
Showcase pages are never listed by us and carry explicit exclusion signals for search engines, archives and AI crawlers. Viewers need the exact link and, if you enable it, the current password. No technical control can prevent an authorised viewer from copying what they can see.
You retain ownership of content you have the right to upload. You can download your originals at any time, and if you leave, your export comes with you. We use only the limited rights needed to store, protect, process and deliver your showcase.
No. Anyone you share with opens the link in a browser on any device. No sign-up or installation is required, and there are no advertising trackers.
Football is where we started, but the showcase works for any skill — dance, music, art, athletics, drama, craft. If it's worth being proud of, it's worth showing well.
No. There are no comments, messages or follower systems anywhere on the platform. An optional contact form exists for adult-managed pages and is switched off by default.
Your media is currently stored in AWS's Sydney region in private, access-controlled storage. Approved viewers receive it through protected delivery links; the underlying storage is not publicly listed.
